I purchased this True treadmill new, twenty-one years ago, and I’ve been the sole user. I’ve had it serviced once a year. The belt was replaced six or seven years ago.
I’ve never had any problem with this treadmill except for the fact that static
notice that the treadmill is on carpeting) used to cause the treadmill to stop after five or six minutes of use. And I would go plummeting forward. But one of the service technicians told me that static was most likely causing this (he could find nothing else), and since then I’ve used an anti-static spray and have had no problems at all.
The reason I’m selling is because we’re downsizing — otherwise I would keep this treadmill forever.
The treadmill is about 72 inches long in total, and about 27 inches wide. It’s 52 inches high with an additional 4 inches for the detachable metal piece that lists ages and heart rates.
I used to have a heart-rate monitor strap with this, but no longer do. It wore out and I never replaced it because I now wear a wrist device.
I’m not sure how many programs this treadmill has. There are four that I use all the time, but there are at least three additional ones that I don’t use, and there’s also a memory function that allows you to create your own program and have the treadmill use it.
I still have the owners manual and will give it to you. Somewhere I have a wax stick and small wrenches that came with the treadmill: I will find those and include them.
Pickup only. NOTE: It will most likely take two of you to move this out of the room, down the hallway, and into the elevator. The treadmill does have two wheels that the technicians use to roll it in and out of the room with, so you won’t be lifting this, you’ll be tipping it upward, maneuvering it out of the room, and rolling it down the hallway. I won’t be able to help. I’ll reserve the elevator for your use once we agree on a pickup time.
